So now i have a rock solid working eclipse with FDT with some some workarrounds
…
Go to -> Applications -> Ubuntu Software Center -> And Search for eclipse and install it
If the installation finished you MUST open eclipse as sudo also open a Terminal and type:
sudo eclipse
now eclipse started and opened his splash screen…
If you seen eclipse than it’s works
Go to -> Help -> Install New Software
And
Paste this URL: http://fdt.powerflasher.com/update/ and click to add
After add type a name for the URL like: FDT Powerflasher After add eclipse fetch the ressources… Click of the top of tree to select all packages…
Click Next and accept the agreements… eclipse install now the packages…
After the installation eclipse ask you if you want to restart eclipse -> RESTART After restart eclipse has now installed FDT BUT, eclipse show now a failure window…
That’s not a problem you must modified only the eclipse.ini… You find it under:/usr/lib/eclipse/eclipse.ini
open it with a TextEditor and with sudo
I have configured my eclipse.ini:
IMPORTANT: i have 4GB RAM if u have under as my than take not so much
sudo eclipse

Thanks for sharing your learnings ! Happy Coding with FDT
